Al’s de Luxe Travel is a recent new company, which principal activities are airport transfers and Algarve excursions.
Its owner and driver/guide Aline Mekelenkamp Guerreiro is Dutch and studied Travel Agency/Tour operating at the School of Tourism and Recreation MTRO in Zwolle, Holland, and started to work in the Algarve in 1995 as a representative for the Dutch Tour Operator ARKE REIZEN.
She is married to portuguese Aurelio Mendes Guerreiro, who she met during that time, and started their own and still successful business Pacífico Bar in Vilamoura in the year 2000 (www.pacificobar.com).
In the mean time Aline M. Guerreiro took a course of Interpreter/Algarve Touring Guide at the Hotel & Tourism School in Faro, for which she graduated in 2001 becoming a professional Algarve Guide (Professional License nº 12/9343/451). She than started to work as a self employed touring guide for several agencies by guiding excursions and airport transfers in the Algarve, Lisbon and Seville, Spain.
In the year of 2011 she took successfully another course of Real Estate Broker while working for Sotheby’s Real Estate Agency in Vilamoura, but returned quickly to her main interest in Tourism by creating her own business and so Al’s de Luxe Travel was born!
